Garage Rock. Literally.
The studio lives in a residential garage, and - yes! - it’s still a functioning garage. With acoustic treatment and baffles by GIK Acoustics, along with a few tasteful rugs, it’s a live-but-controlled 20’x24’x10’ space that can adapt to the needs of your project.
One room approach.
Sad Monkey Sound is a single-room studio, with one medium-sized mixing and tracking space. It’s not the “perfect” mix space, or the “perfect” live room, but it’s a great version of each, and is built for working quickly and efficiently to let the creative process flow freely, with sessions often bouncing back and forth between mixing and overdubs seamlessly.
